There comes a point in each health-obsessed person's life when she realizes that there is more commentary in her head about a particular topic than friends and coworkers care to hear about.

I'm about two years past that point, so I've created this online space to share top health stories, discuss projects I'm working on, and gather insights from experts and everyday people who simply care -- a lot -- about health.

Health is good, getting and staying healthy is, by definition, healthy.

When health becomes an obsession it is, by definition, unhealthy.

Isn't writing about an obsession unhealthy?

Anyway, best of luck with your new blog. I hope you will comment about the pleasure or enjoyment of a healthy regiment and not the codification of calories, heart rate, speed or metrics.

I believe the joy of being healthy is not in the metrics, and there is also pleasure from breaking from a regime. Getting drunk on occasion has a certain pleasurable component for example.
